Registration Discount
SWE is offering discounted registration to participants who support WE10 conference hotels. When the Society reserves convention center and/or hotel spaces, we must guarantee a certain number of hotel rooms. If the block is not filled, WE10 participants may be affected with higher costs and reduced valuable programs, and SWE may endure financial risk. We have secured the three closest hotels to the convention center at the lowest rates possible, so we encourage you explore these options. We have also acquired special hotel blocks for collegians.
We ask that you book with our conference hotels using the reference of “Society of Women Engineers.” This will ensure that you receive the best rate for the property, support SWE and receive the best available registration price. If you have any rate questions, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
Refunds
Refunds will be issued for written, faxed or emailed cancellations only, and that are received at the registration office on or before September 25, 2010. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. Refund is limited to basic registration fees. No ticket prices for special events or tours can be refunded.
Under 18 Years of Age Policies
Attendees must be over 18 years of age to attend a technical tour. Children can accompany parents to any sightseeing tour unless otherwise designated. For safety reasons, no one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the exhibit hall during setup. Minors will be allowed in the exhibit hall during the Career Fair posted hours, but only if accompanied by a parent or guardian. For specific questions regarding age limits and policies, contact the conference manager at 1-800-892-2858.
Guest Fee Clarification
Our special reduced guest fee is limited to one guest per paid registrant (with the exception of the registrant’s children under 18 years of age). The guest fee is limited to participant's spouses and guests. It includes exhibit events and general non-paid social events. Guests are allowed to purchase tickets to paid events when accompanied by a participant, excluding professional Career-Enhancement Series (CES) courses.
